Ovolo Hotel

The Ovolo Hotel chain is part of the Hind Group headquartered in Hong Kong. Ovolo Hotels reflect creative design and unique experiences.

Woods Bagot (architectural design) and Gillard Group (lighting design) were commissioned to enhance the space.

The reception vestibule is a work of art. Embroidered fabric walls suspend sixty stainless steel Ovolo eggs. Each egg is back lit by fibre optic cable. Overarching reception is recessed linear flex LED. Receptionists’ faces are lit by theatre profile lights.

Sparkle crystal light is achieved by front-lighting the chain mesh curtains with glass tube argon gas. At night, the porte-cochere shimmers themed pink.
