Ann St Church

When this Australian Presbyterian Church was built in 1858 the priest rowed a boat across the Brisbane River to deliver sermons.

The city now has twenty bridges and the church is heritage listed and the oldest still running in Queensland Australia. The Gillard Group lit the interior a decade ago and were invited back to light the exterior.

On 6 July 2016, Paul James, Darc Awards Director, London wrote:

“… your entry in the Structures (Best Exterior Lighting) – low budget category has made the shortlist ….. It’s no mean feat. Your scheme was shortlisted by a panel of nine judges ……”

The church also appeared in the Mondo Magazine Aug/Sep 2016.
