Southbank Arbour
Occupying 17 hectares of lush parkland, Southbank (Brisbane) is a world-class multi-use venue popular with locals and tourists.
Snaking through the parkland for over one kilometre and groaning with manicured Bougainvillaea is the Denton Corker Marshall designed Arbour.
Jenni contributed to the lighting design. The team created safe passage lighting while ‘spotlighting’ what would become the abundant flowering vine draping over 443 Arbour tendrils.
Moreover, the solutions had to operate in high-traffic and harsh conditions and minimise maintenance. The collective result is a multi-award winning splendour.
