Blue Poles

The National Gallery of Australia controversially purchased Blue Poles by American artist Jackson Pollock for A$1.3m in 1973.

Requiring and obtaining the Australian Prime Minister’s approval, Blue Poles became a landmark national acquisition.

In October 2016, for insurance purposes, the painting was valued at A$350m.

Jenni contributed to the original re-lighting of this iconic large-scale abstract expressionist painting.

A ceiling mounted very high quality bespoke projector light was designed to illuminate the exact dimensions of the painting.
