Clayfield Apartments (a)

A boutique up-market complex comprising four apartments, penthouse and large communal area with a swimming pool. The Gillard Group was engaged to do the backyard lighting and landscaping design.

Trellis panels were positioned outside ground floor apartment windows and along the back fence and backlit. The complex’s backyard receives little winter sun so the dividing fence was clad in ampelite to allow the sun through and fitted with grow lamps.

Two glow boxes were designed for and grow lights were added to the atrium. Small projector lights illuminate hedge plants and back light poolside.
