Presbyterian Church

The Ann Street Presbyterian Church Brisbane is heritage listed and one of the oldest in the state of Queensland (1858).

The church is located in the heart of the city abutting King George Square and opposite the imposing Brisbane City Hall building.

The cities growth has been unkind to the Church which is hemmed in by a tower and a new commercial development in the Square.

The site was dark, grim and unsafe and a place for the homeless and drug addicts.

The Gillard Group lit the interior almost a decade ago and were re-engaged to light the exterior.

In 2016, when the Gillard Group conducted its final lighting inspection, we found three photographers.
